Not much of a story at this stage: we’re rushing to get out for the day, but here are some photos from Saturday, which was spent exploring the pretty Bodensee (lake Constance) town of Überlingen. It is about an hour’s drive west of where we are staying (near Ravensburg.)
The shot at the beginning is the view of the field, pigs and fruit trees from the verandah of our apartments. Lack of smell-o-vision prevents me from bringing the full experience, because the farmer had just done a post-mow fertilisation of the whole field, using what I assume is liquified pig sullage. Just as well we could close the doors and windows, not like the wedding party that was arriving for their reception in the main building…
